Blooming Bunches

April showers bring May flowers here in the Wenatchee Valley. The extra warm spring we are having seems to brighten the flower's day. Below is a collection of colorful flowers I shot the other evening when I finished working the horses. Cutting Show

Cascade Cow Cutters had another great turn out for their Ellensburg show this last weekend. We had beautiful weather Friday and Saturday and then the wind picked up Saturday night and all of Sunday. I just love taking pictures of cutting horses in action. Due to riding in a class myself, I am not able to catch every rider. Photographs from this weekend are online at Country Dove Photography.

Newborn Twins

I had the privilege of getting to take these adorable twin boys' first pictures. This was my first time photographing newborns...nothing like starting with two of them! Such a fun day with these boys and first time parents who adore them so much.

NCW Fair

 Fair season is one of my favorite times of year.

These high school FFA members proudly show off their steers to the judge at the 2014 NCW District Fair in Waterville.

This is my favorite shot. It has just the right amount of background fade and good lighting on his face.

 

The detail in her FFA jacket and braided hair catches my eye.
